PLATELET RICH PLASMA THERAPY

Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy (PRP) is an increasingly popular, completely natural treatment, used for skin regeneration and hair restoration.

An established injection therapy, PRP enhances tissue regeneration to improve the texture of the skin, create better skin tone, firm the skin, reduce fine lines and wrinkles and remodel, by delivering growth factors at high concentrations to the treated site. This regenerative treatment is autologous (derived from your own blood) where the platelet rich plasma component is extracted, concentrated, and reintroduced to rejuvenate the skin so it is completely natural. The concentrated platelets in PRP contain vast amounts of bioactive proteins, which include growth factors.   • The total procedure takes approximately 1 hour. We take a simple blood sample from your arm before placing this into the centrifuge machine. After the blood has spun in the centrifuge, we will then withdraw the platelet rich plasma and inject this into the area. The treatment normally takes 4-6 weeks to take effect and you may be advised to have further treatments for maximum results. The process leads to slowing down of the ageing process, gradual increase in skin thickness and vitality and stimulates hair growth. Importantly, the skin will maintain a natural looking appearance after the treatment.
