These small branches of veins are injected with a solution (sclerosant), using a fine needle. A vein light will also be used to detect non visible veins. The vein is sealed by initiating the body’s wound-healing response and the body absorbs the vein over the subsequent months.

Microsclerotherpy is not a quick fix and it may require additional sessions, 8-12 weeks apart. Please note that you are advised not to fly for 4 weeks following treatment.
